Yokohama promises global premiere of Yokohama Avid Touring S tires
The range of manufactured Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. products, known in many countries around the world, have been replenished with new mud tires Yokohama Avid Touring S, designed for SUV class cars and light truck pickups. The launch of a new model in Japan is scheduled for August 2017, after which it should appear in other markets.
In the model range, the Yokohama Avid Touring S tires will replace the “obsolete”
Yokohama Avid Touring S, which have been produced since 2004. Against the background of tires of the previous generation, they are distinguished by improved off-road performance, improved ride comfort and wear resistance. In addition, the technical specialist Yokohama Avid Touring S Review says , aggressive design of the tread and sidewalls of the “Yokohama Avid Touring S” will certainly be appreciated by lovers of off-road driving.
The growing popularity of SUVs and pickups in recent years has accelerated the release of new products from the Yokohama family. Thus, Yokohama Avid Touring S tires have joined the Yokohama Avid Touring S road model and Yokohama Avid Touring S "all-terrain" tires on the European market for 2015-2016. And considering that since 2012, Yokohama tires have been produced for urban SUVs, as well as compact and mid-size crossovers, we can say that the Japanese manufacturer has closed its offer on all fronts of the target market.

Yokohama tires, unlike standard off-road tires, the Yokohama are designed for more extreme operating conditions. The manufacturer claims that they are intended not only for dirt, but also for use on various landscapes, including sand, rocks and city streets. Today, X-MT is the most aggressive of all existing off-road tire models from the manufacturer.
The design of the Yokohama resembles the Yokohama Mud Digger tires, which were discontinued more than two decades ago, said technical specialist Shina.Guide . Massive tread blocks with bulging protruding elements on the sidewalls ensure confident behavior of the G005 on loose soil and stability of adhesion when overcoming obstacles on inclined surfaces.

Denmark is recognized as the most expensive EU country.
The European Statistical Office has published a comparative analysis of prices for goods and services in EU member states.
A comparative analysis of prices for 2,400 consumer goods and services in Europe, conducted by the European Statistical Agency (Eurostat), showed that Denmark in 2013 was the most expensive country among the 28 EU member states. According to Eurostat, prices for goods and services in Denmark are 40% higher than the average for the European Union, ITAR-TASS reports . Denmark is followed in this ranking by Sweden, where prices exceed the European average by 30%, as well as Luxembourg and Finland, whose residents have to pay for goods and services by 23% than the EU average.
Denmark ranks first in the cost of six categories of goods and services - food and non-alcoholic beverages, consumer electronics, private transport, restaurants and hotels. In terms of prices for clothes, this country was in fourth place, the report says Eurostat, and for tobacco and alcohol products - the seventh (including non-EU countries). In particular, alcoholic beverages are more expensive in Ireland, Finland and the UK. Large differences in the prices of alcohol are due to different levels of taxation, Eurostat explained.
Buying a car will cost 55% more to residents of Denmark than the EU average. The Netherlands took the second place on the high cost of motor transport - + 17%. The lowest prices were in Bulgaria - buying a car there will cost almost half the price of the EU average, as well as in Romania and Poland, where the prices for cars make up about 57% of the average European prices.
At the same time, if we consider all European countries, and not just EU members, then Denmark will take only third place in terms of price level, skipping ahead of non-EU Switzerland and Norway, the Eurostat report says. Thus, Norwegians pay more than five Danes in five of the six categories of goods and services, and the price level for tobacco and alcohol in Norway is 2.5 times higher than the average European level.
